FCm team build house for the needy in Philippines

Travel News 17 Dec 2015

Each year since 2013 FCm Travel Solutions team members have sent a contingent to the Philippines as part of the Habitat for Humanity cause to build homes for those who lost theirs in Typhoon Haiyan.

Tatum O'Toole led the charge again for the third time this year, teaming up with some other volunteers to build a house in just ten days.

It's been two years since Typhoon Haiyan hit the centre of the Philippines leaving almost more than 1.9 million people homeless.

Habitat for Humanity wants to build a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live, a cause which really resonates with Tatum.

"It really means a lot to be able to roll your sleeves up and help a great cause which delivers something to people that many of us can take for granted – a roof over your head," said Tatum.

"Plans to go again next year are already in motion – we are looking forward to taking over the biggest group yet."
