FCm introduces another ‘smart’ app to its technology offering

The SmartSTAY hotel program, which is available to all FCm customers, has launched its very own mobile app for iOS and Android. 

Download the app today and you’ll have all the information you need on SmartSTAY hotels at your fingertips.

The app provides travellers with an online directory of every participating hotel in the exclusive SmartSTAY program. Special features include images of the properties, hotel descriptions, embedded Google maps and a list of free inclusions you can receive by booking a SmartSTAY rate. 

The SmartSTAY app requires iOS 6.0 or later and is available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Alternative platforms require Android 2.1 or later.

Launched earlier this year, SmartSTAY is a dedicated accommodation program for FCm clients. 

The program gives your business and its travellers year-round access to free extras including room upgrades, wi-fi, late check-out or early check-in, breakfast, car parking, use of hotel conference facilities, laundry services and even local restaurant discounts.

Value added services are offered at no additional cost to clients and are available on the fully flexible corporate rate.

SmartSTAY, which now includes almost 150 properties to choose from, offers generous benefits to FCm clients who stay at participating hotels. 

National General Manager for FCm Australia, James Kavanagh said the new SmartSTAY app was yet another way FCm was making travel easy and efficient for customers.

“The SmartSTAY app provides all the critical information travellers need on their SmartSTAY hotel,” James said. “No longer do they have to trawl through the web looking for the right website to find where their hotel is located, what it looks like or an authentic description of amenities.

“This app is about saving travellers time and money as they’ll be able to view what value adds they can receive upfront.”

James said the SmartSTAY app added to FCm’s rapidly growing suite of technology for clients.

“The introduction of the SmartSTAY app follows our recent release of the FCm Mobile app. Apps are now one of the most commonly used channels on mobile devices, so it makes sense that we can provide information in a format that our travellers can easy digest while they’re on the move.”
