Long recognised as one of the world’s premier airlines, Singapore Airlines is taking off into the next generation with the launch of its new product offering and cabin elements.
Passengers will soon be enjoying a brand new range of features in first, business and economy classes when the carrier takes delivery of its new B777-300ER in September this year.
First class passengers will have even more room to stretch out with new seats measuring 35 inches by 82 inches. The upgraded design increases privacy and comfort and is one of the most spacious first class offerings available in air travel.
Business class seats have also received an overhaul and will now follow the A380 configuration of 1-2-1. Passengers will be able to switch between ‘Lazy Z’ and ‘Sundeck’ recline positions and also have the option of forming a fully flat horizontal bed.
Those travelling in economy class will be treated to increased personal space and more legroom. Inflight entertainment has also been upgraded with the airline’s acclaimed KrisWorld system now offering larger LCD displays, touch screen handset and a wider variety of audio and video selections. Passengers will also have access to Panasonic's Global Communications Suite enabling access to broadband internet and mobile phone services.
The new offerings will be initially rolled out on flights between Singapore and London and eventually expanded to other routes as new 777s are delivered. The airline will also roll out the next generation product new Airbus A350 aircraft.
