The sales superstar launched her career with Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) in 1996 after 10 years at Qantas, initially coming on board to head up the account management team. Fast-forward 12 years and Melissa has made her mark in several senior leadership roles across account management and operations & sales. Her leadership prowess, stellar sales background and well-rounded skillset mean she’s able to transform customers’ travel programs – simplifying processes, boosting savings, adding value and maximising return on investment. Melissa plays a direct role in evolving the FCM customer offering, as well as mentoring and developing rising females in the business.
Renos RologasHead of Account Management
Renos Rologas is FCM Travel Solutions’ Head of Account Management & Implementations. In a career spanning 27+ years, Renos has worked in most facets of the travel industry, including retail, aviation, car, SME, tertiary, government and corporate travel. He sits on the national management team – responsible for all client and implementation activities. Regarded as a thought leader in the industry, Renos is often asked to speak at industry events and pass on his advice and knowledge to participants. He currently leads a team of 30 Account Managers, regularly demonstrating his knack for finding new ways of managing travel programs that deliver value, simplicity and savings to customers.
Samantha RykersBusiness Solutions Leader
Sam Rykers is FCM Travel Solutions’ Business Solutions Leader. Since starting with FCTG in 2007, Sam has gone from owning her own Escape Travel branch in North Sydney to becoming Leader of Implementations and Business Improvement at Corporate Traveller HQ, before stepping into her current position. Sam, who was raised in Tamworth, Country NSW, is responsible for onboarding new customers, optimising systems processes and integrations, and simplifying the overall customer experience. It’s a big job, but fortunately Sam is known for her dedication and organisational skills. When she’s not striving towards better customer experiences at work, Sam indulges in a pastime that requires just as much skill: macaron-making!
Grant CurreyHead of Technology
Grant is FCM Travel Solutions’ Head of Technology. Equally passionate about travel and tech (whether for work or play), Grant has been in his element working in the travel industry for the past eight years. With experience dating back to the dawn of the internet age, Grant has previously made his mark in positions at FCM Travel Solutions’ parent company, FCTG, and Wotif.com. The energetic Brisbanite is responsible for customer engagement and innovation as it relates to technology (a function growing in importance all the time), rolling out corporate strategy and managing key accounts. In his downtime, Grant takes a break from the screen to indulge his love of fishing, 4x4 trips and DIY handyman tasks.
Alison CausebrookPeopleworks Leader
Alison is FCM Travel Solutions’ General Manager – People and Learning. UK-born, Queensland-raised Alison first came on board with Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) in 1990. In a remarkable career spanning 27+ years, this irrepressible optimist has seen it all: the advent of online booking, natural disasters, economic crises and the rise of smartphone apps. During that time, Alison has worn a number of hats, kicked hundreds of career goals, and been inducted into the FCTG Hall of Fame. Since 2009, she has been responsible for employee engagement, recruitment and learning & development. Cluttering Alison’s mantelpiece at home are many Outstanding Achievement Awards for her contributions to the business.
Sara WilliamsFinance Leader
Sara Williams is FCM Solutions’ Commercial Leader. Financial wiz Sara came on board at Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) in 2004, where her exceptional money and management skills were recognised and she rose from Management Accountant to FCM Financial Controller. As an accomplished finance professional who has reached the top of a male-dominated specialty, Sara is passionate about promoting women in the workforce and connecting with other female professionals. Her responsibilities include commercial support to operations, finance administration, internal group financial reporting and finance leadership.
Jane PearsonPeopleworks Leader
Jane Pearson is FCM Travel Solutions’ Corporate Peopleworks Leader. After joining our parent organisation Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) in 1991, Jane quickly rose through the ranks to become a Travel Manager and Team Leader. The yoga devotee, who was born in Canberra and grew up in Rio de Janeiro, joined the Corporate Peopleworks team five years ago. Her key responsibilities include nurturing a team of experts across three key departments, developing a comprehensive understanding of the corporate brands in order to deliver customised training programs, and delivering engaging development programs to ensure FCM continues to attract and retain exceptional talent.
Brendan SeilerRegional General Manager, NSW
Brendan is FCM Travel Solutions’ Regional General Manager for NSW – a key territory he took charge of at the start of 2018. He brings 13 years of sales and operations leadership experience to this pivotal role, including positions in Corporate Training and Business Development at Corporate Traveller and Subway Restaurants. The Jervis Bay native ensures operational excellence across the FCM operations teams and proactively spearheads customer retention and growth strategies. Beloved throughout the business as a fun-loving, family-oriented guy, Brendan is most passionate about developing and supporting his team to help them realise their career potential. Fun fact: Brendan, who lives in Manly in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, watches a Star Wars film at least once a week.
Shelley PotenRegional General Manager, QLD/NT
Shelley Poten is FCM Travel Solutions’ Regional General Manager for Queensland and the Northern Territory. Her 13 years of managerial success in corporate travel was deservedly celebrated when she was named a corporate finalist in the Women in Travel Awards 2017. From her base in Brisbane, Shelley oversees the strategic direction of the FCM Travel Solutions brand in her regions, including customer retention and engagement and people development. On her days off, Shelley throws herself into life as passionately as she does into her career – she is an avid motorbike rider and has a black belt in Taekwondo.
Adrian CooperRegional General Manager, WA/SA
Adrian is FCM Travel Solutions’ Regional General Manager for WA and SA. After joining the business in 2006, the passionate Tasmanian spent 11 years excelling in various leadership roles before taking up his current post in 2013. Adrian’s day-to-day involves developing and growing the key regions under his remit, building positive customer relationships and leading and developing the 60+ staff who report to him. Active in his local community, Adrian is a central figure in FCM’s Indigenous reconciliation strategies – including the FCM Gift Giving Tree, which has delivered 500+ gifts to Indigenous children in need through partnerships with the Wirrpanda Foundation, Save the Children and Marnja Jarndu Women's Refuge.
Mary GavaRegional General Manager, Government/Pinnacle
Mary Gava is FCM Travel Solutions’ Regional General Manager, Government/Pinnacle travel. The Sydneysider studied at the Harvard School of Management before joining FCTG in 1998. With 23+ years in the travel industry, Mary has racked up countless achievements in a range of leadership and management positions, including FCM Travel Solutions’ General Manager for Australia and New Zealand and Regional General Manager – Government and RGM Pinnacle. In her current role, Mary is responsible for the creation and deployment of the Pinnacle – High Touch/Concierge service offering for C-Suite Customers, as well as setting the Strategic & Operational direction for future growth within the Government sector.
Kristy Fennell-HiggsRegional General Manager - Academic Travel
Kristy Fennell-Higgs has broad experience in the corporate travel industry including a long history of new business acquisition and growth, strategic sales management, operational management, partnerships and relationship building. She has more than 15 years’ experience in sales and operations management in the Australian travel industry and has worked with clients in the academic travel sector as part of her time with Campus Travel's parent company the Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG). Kristy spent almost nine years in the corporate travel division of FCTG, with the majority of her time spent in sales management roles. She has an excellent understanding of the unique challenges and growth opportunities in corporate travel management including the academic market.
