FCm China has been recognised for corporate travel excellence after being named ‘Business Travel Management Company of the Year’ for 2012 by China BT MICE.

The award was announced at a BT MICE function at the new Crown Plaza Hotel Yunnan.

FCm Beijing General Manager Vivian Wei, who collected the award on the night, said FCm was honoured to take out the prestigious award.

“This accolade is testament to the hard work and commitment of our travel teams throughout Greater China. Our travel and account managers as well as our sales and support personnel, have delivered a consistently high quality service to our customers. Key to our customer offering is service that is personal, flexible and tailored for each and every client’s needs,” Ms Wei said.

“During the past year FCm Beijing has increased its client portfolio organically and through new client acquisition. This has helped to raise FCm’s brand and presence in the Chinese business travel market.”

Ms Wei said FCm’s success in the corporate market was also a result of having experienced travel consultants, most of who had a minimum of six years experience in the industry, while FCm’s account managers have on average more than 10 years experience.

“All of our people are bilingual, multi-skilled and undergo at least 40 hours of additional professional training each year to strengthen or further their day-to-day skills. These attributes ensure our teams can offer a service that’s developed to meet the unique needs of Asia’s corporate travel market and FCm’s growing multinational client base,” she said.

“We were delighted to accept this award and to be recognised as a local leader by BT MICE.”
