FCm Travel Solutions moves one step closer to achieving its goal of having a network spanning 100 countries, after signing a new partner agreement with a local agency in Oman.

FCm has recently introduced Travel City LLC in Oman to its rapidly expanding global network. The new agreement takes the number of countries the global travel management company has a presence in to 83. In Middle East and Africa (MEA) FCm has offices in 19 countries with Regional Network Director Ciaran Kelly indicating there are further countries FCm will add to its MEA network over the coming year.

Ciaran said FCm’s newest affiliation in Oman operated a group travel network of 36 offices throughout the Sultanate including seven business travel centres. The agency employs 250 staff across the group.

“FCm Oman is a well established local travel agency with a long history in both corporate and retail travel,” Ciaran said. “The agency offers FCm customers a large team of experienced travel professionals, online travel technology and importantly end-to-end business travel management solutions.”

Established in 1989, Travel City LLC belongs to Oman’s leading travel consortium, which also includes Al Araimi Travel & Cargo LLC and Travel Point LLC. FCm Oman offers an array of corporate, retail and specialist travel divisions to coordinate event management and conference bookings, global hotel bookings, car rental, medical travel, religious travel, courier and cargo requirements.

“We’re very pleased to be bringing onboard an agency that not only has excellent local market knowledge and relationships with suppliers, but one that has many other travel capabilities that can add value to FCm’s existing client relationships,” Ciaran said.

Travel City Travel Manager, Sudeep Joseph said they were looking forward to developing a close and successful partnership with FCm.

“While we have a very strong presence and reputation in Oman as well as the Middle East, joining the FCm network will provide the company with added global exposure and opportunities for new client growth in the multinational space,” Sudeep said.

“We’re looking to grow our multinational client portfolio and will be working closely with FCm to identify future opportunities.”
